A Silicon Valley battery company will build its first commercial-scale factory in a large Brighton warehouse, accepting millions in state and local tax incentives and aiming to employ at least 332 people there. Amprius Technologies, based in Fremont, California, revealed Monday that it plans to build its battery production line in the Mile High Logistics Center building in Brighton, using half the 1.3 million-square-foot structure originally built to be a retail distribution center. 'The selection of Colorado for our gigawatt-scale factory marks an important milestone for Amprius,' said Kang Sun, CEO of the company.
