Staff ReportInterim Brighton Utilities Director Marc Johns will fill the position permanently, City Manager Michael Martinez confirmed on Aug. 16 As the director, Mr. Johns will oversee the implementation, operation, and maintenance of all facilities related to the delivery of potable (drinkable) and non-potable water supplies, the collection and treatment of wastewater, and the discharge of storm drainage throughout the City. Johns has worked as the interim utilities director starting in October 2021.
